Shepherd's Field Children's Village

Shepherd's Field Children's Village, run by the Philip Hayden Foundation,
is a foster village about an hour and a half southeast of Beijing in Tianjin, China.

The village is home to around 100 orphaned children with special needs.  Children at the village have a variety of special needs including such things as cleft lips and palates, limb differences, burns, heart defects, seizures, developemental disabilities, and other special needs.

It is the goal of the staff at Shepherd's Field for each child living there to be adopted into a loving home of his or her own some day.  Sometimes that is not possible, and sometimes it just takes time.

In the meantime, it is here at Shepherd's Field that these children receive love, acceptance, comfortable homes in which to live, nutritious meals, schooling, medical care, including surgeries and ongoing treatments, and a happy life.

Our team is going to serve for a week at Shepherd's Field from June 16 - June 25.  We are humbled and filled with joy to be called to serve at the village, and we would cherish your prayers for the trip.
